She lives with her family in Beverly Hills, California with Samantha and Olivia. Ann Turkel still struggles to deal with the divorce she received of Richard Harris, even though they only got married for 8 years. Turkel was born in an ethnically Jewish family, and was raised with her mom in Manhattan. Ann was discovered when she was performing in a Vogue fashion show in her group. Within the next week, Vogue's editor-in chief Diana Vreeland had Ann shoot her very first Vogue cover in collaboration with photographer Richard Avedon. Ann later became one of the most wanted models in the country, appearing on covers for the biggest fashion magazines. This included Vogue Bazaar as well Cosmopolitan. Ann started modeling in Europe and Japan for Max Factor Revlon as well as Chanel after two successful years.
